Events to find us at

Transition Sale at ArtAndes Northrup King Building #285. After 16 years at Northrup King, I am moving our studio space to my Stillwater granary, June is our last month at NKB. Our goal is to keep the weavers weaving & lower our overhead while doing so. All rugs, furniture, ottomans, pillows are marked down. I have a special collection of sale rugs of which the proceeds will go to the Minneapolis Foundation to be directed to their community grant program in the aftermath of George Floyds Death. Come by our studio Tues, Thurs & Sat 1-4 through Sat June 27 and cheerfully by appt. The gallery is a 2,700 sq ft open floor plan, we are following the sanitary protocols. For a virtual Tour of our sale: https://youtu.be/fjbkODP-phE & photos provided upon request. Tell your friends, for every rug I sell I can commission our team to weave another! After June, I welcome you to our Stillwater location.

One person Madison Art Fair July 10-12. I  love Madison!! I am very grateful to be invited to show on the grounds of Nancy & Stewards house in the neighborhood of West High School off Regent Street in Madison. Nancy & Steward started out as rug customers 4 years ago, then joined a Peru trip, then an Ecuador trip, and now I get to hang out in their yard and sell rugs! This is the part of my business I love, making new life long friends. We have a beautiful collection of textiles that have been designed for this summer season of Art Fairs and Mill City Market.  Make an appt over the course of the 3 days, bring friends. All sanitary protocols will be followed. 651.230.0560

Andean News
Our Peru & Ecuador loved ones, from our 'Fundacion Comunidad' supported rural students,  to our beloved weavers, to our 'Humana Tourism' supported communities ArtAndes travelers bond with, to all the guides, chefs, gardeners, hotel staff, drivers... these friends we have decades of relationships with..we are making travel plans for 2021 to make up for 2020. Next month we will highlight the community & work of Chinchero, Peru. You won't want to miss this!

The rug design started with a visit to my friend Sam’s second home in Galisteo, NM. Sam introduced me to the magical area of the SW shortly after she had joined my Peru trip in 2009. Galisteo is a vibrant arts community near Santa Fe. Her adobe home was built by this colorful character Ken, mud from the bottom up,  pure adobe! Incredible architecture that Sam filled with her generous spirit, and a great art collection. blog for more fascinating info
