Peru Textiles & Culture across the Southwest

Every March I am very fortunate to do a road trip with a van full of textiles, a slide projector & laptop, Jeff, and of course bikes! These road trips usually lead me to the Pacific NW, CA, AZ & NM. The destinations depend on who has been on a Peru trip with me! It's a fantastic way to network and see new and old friends. Plus it's so much fun. A few highlights of March 2013 were giving two sold out presentations at the Western National Park Association in Tucson and a two day event at the Tonto Verde Club House near Scottsdale, with the Mata Oritz potters. It's my favorite and most affective way of marketing textiles and Peru trips. Here are a few photos of rugs left behind!
