Andean Culture

I was very fortunate to recently spend a week exploring the back roads of the Ayacucho area. This rustic adventure was an extension to the 18 day tour I do on a regular basis, which I always find stimulating, then I add to the stimulation by extending it! I got my start traveling Peru, in the department of Ayacucho, and we have a foundation in the area, so I'm quite familiar with this part of the Andes. But I did get to a new area, Millpo, that for the most part is only accessed by horse, and it was spectacular!! We were welcomed, due to the fact that we were traveling with Wilber, who's wife Pascuala was raised in Millpo. There's no place, in the world, like the Andes!
